Veon Beth Burnett (nee Lockrem) born November 28, 1924 passed peacefully in her sleep at home on March 8, 2023. “Beth” was born in Warroad, Minnesota and attended high school in Gouverneur, New York. After marrying Donald Burnett, she raised her children in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. She had four children Donee (Jerry) Myny, the late Ken (Ann) Burnett, Darla (Don) Rucker, and Cindy (Mark) Strange, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren. Beth retired from Macomb County as a Deputy Registrar at Probate Court. Her two passions were traveling the world and caring for her family. The love of her kitties and gambling were a close 3rd. As the matriarch of 5 generations, her love and ever present smile will be greatly missed by the many who loved her. A celebration of life will be scheduled for a future date.
