Vera I. Schaefer, age 78, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, passed away on April 17, 2020. She was born on March 11, 1942. Vera is the beloved wife to Horst E. Schaefer. She is the loving mother to Mike Schaefer, and Kevin (Laura) Schaefer. Vera is the cherished grandmother to Vaughn and Vanessa Schaefer. She was preceded in death by her son Erik Schaefer. Vera will be missed by many family and friends. Family will receive friends on Friday April 24, 2020, beginning at 2:00 pm until time of a private family service at 7:00 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081. Masks are encouraged to be worn for the visitation. Interment will take place on Saturday at Resurrection Cemetery.
