Virginia I. Mantyck

Virginia Irene Mantyck, age 99, passed away on January 8, 2026. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Sylvester “Bud” Mantyck and daughter, Lori Mantyck. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Mary and Martin Mileski, and all six of her siblings. Virginia is survived by her loving daughter, Paulette (John) Bartony; caring grandchildren, Lorin (Scott) Honeysett and Joseph Bartony; dear great-grandson, Jacob; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was a great cook, baker, and seamstress. She loved to dance, sing, and visit the casino. Her caring heart was filled with an unwavering faith in God and immense love for her family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Hope Parish in memory of Virginia Mantyck. Funeral Mass, Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. (Instate 9:00 a.m.) at Our Lady of Hope Parish, 28301 Little Mack Ave., St. Clair Shores.
