Bert,
Just found out about your husband passing this afternoon from Billy. After 51 years of marriage, I know how difficult the days ahead will be for you. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers knowing that God will hold you close. May you treasure your memories of the life you shared together. God Bless.

I didn't know Bill other than of him thru the F-106 re-union. I was a crew chief for several years on the Delta Dart. My wife and I were in the 127th at Selfridge for 25+ years. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Bertha, my thoughts and prayers are with you this morning. I'm sorry that I have not be able to spend time with you at the funeral home or at mass this morning as I came down with the flu after talking with you last week. Bill will always be a smiling face in my memory, who always exuded kindness and gentleness. God Bless. Linda Bauer

I worked with Bill at Wurtsmith and really came to understand what it is to be an NCO!!! He was a great person, mentor, and friend - AL in one!

As a fellow 106er and Vet I would like to express my sorrow for the lost of a great guy. When we all are together I'll have to get some of Bill's tricks on repairing aircraft.

Bert,
I worked with Bill at Selfridge 61 - 66, a true professional all the way. Sure was great to see Bill again at the 2011 Reunion at Selfridge and finally meet you. Aleta and I enjoyed very much the time with both of you at the reunion. Don't forget, now you have a Guardian Angel looking over you.
