Our Dearest Billy,

We are sending you a message of infinite, unconditional love from this realm to the one in which you now reside - Heaven. It's been nine solemn years since you left us. Our grief ebbs and flows like the tide. Your passing has taken a piece of our hearts. Thank God, we have sweet memories of you on continual replay whenever we choose to go down  Memory Lane which is quite often.

We thank God for sharing you with us even though your life was quite brief. We take comfort in our Faith to know that one day we, too, shall pass from this earth; and, over time, our family will be reunited and whole once again in God's infinite home.

Our beloved Billy;

God gave us a precious gift in you
Precious as can be, handsome and true
We awaited this blessed and special event
Funny, as we now take a look back at how
The years just came and went

Born on the 4th of July in 1974
You were mom's Firecracker Baby- that's for sure!
Birthday cakes with those sparklers
Marking each and every year after
So many sweet memories of you
Some which bring us sweet laughter

Tragically, thirty-nine brief years
That is all we had with you
For you left us way much too soon
As your soul travelled on that sorrowful November day-
Beyond the moon
Then, God opened Heaven's door
And, as you entered He said, 
“Welcome back home, My Son,
Your life here will be infinite, forevermore”

The cherished memories of you are
Our most precious treasures, you see?
The days of our lives will never be the same again

Knowing you are with our loving God above

There wasn't time for goodbyes, but

Grief is an unbearable, emotional
