Zula Loretta Wright

Zula L. Wright, age 81, a longtime resident of St. Clair Shores, died on Thursday, April 2nd. She was born on January 4, 1934 in Exeter, Virginia. Dear mother of James Wright and Laura (Jeff) Sarakun. Loving grandmother of Jessica (Ben) Powers, Jamie Wright, Dyan Godina, Nicholas Godina, Corey Godina, and Kenneth (Jill) Ball. Loving great grandmother of Haley, Alexis and Lacey Ball, Paige and Alaina Powers, Isabelle Hetzel. Sister of Sue (Tom) Gastmeier and Betty (Rev. James) Pruitt. She was preceded in death by her husband George, her parents Ernest and Ruby Blevins and her brothers Gaines and Harlis Blevins. Visitation Tuesday 3-9pm at the Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores. In state Wednesday 10am until 11am, the time of the funeral service at Trinity Lutheran Church, 38900 Harper Avenue (South of Crocker), Clinton Township. Interment will follow at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy. In Lieu of flowers memorials honoring Mrs. Wright’s memory may be directed to the Stephens Ministry at Trinity Lutheran Church.
