My deepest sympathies to the family.   Laura, I just found out that you left this earth in December of 2020. I'm sorry I am late. One word comes up when I think of you, Firefly. You always lit up a room and lit up the hearts of everyone you came across. I never forgot you, even though it's been since high school. But every once in a while you always popped in my head. Can't explain it. Our friendship was brief, but unforgettable. I got a kick out of teasing you and making you laugh your brains out. I enjoyed your pokes and pinches and those moments when I made you turn beet red, especially in front of you know who, "Steve".  Fun memories. But the imprint I have of you is a heart of gold. And I am not surprised it still carried with you as I read through the comments, you touched many souls. Your time here was short, but you lived every moment with love for all. Mission complete.

My 1st memory is of the beautiful photo of Laura around a year old in a pretty dress looking the image of her mother Brenda. A photo I still have & cherish. 2ndly, Laura & Jody’s wedding, being invited & being able to participate in this beautiful celebration always makes me smile 😊. Lastly, playing crosswords online with Laura & having my ass kicked by Her almost every time makes me think I could have tried harder but incredibly happy to have had Laura in my life. Laura sure inspired me ❤️🥰😘🥰❤️

 I am very saddened to learn of Laura's passing. We were childhood and high school friends. I will fondly remember the times we spent together. My deepest sympathies are with her family at this time.

I can still hear her hearty laugh and see her trademark dimples! 

I hear her say, "Omg Tiara!" in her disapproving poking fun at me tone she used whilst rolling her eyes at me! (because I was being silly and saying a bad pun! Lol)

A daughter, A wife, A mother, A niece, A cousin, An Aunt, A friend, A teacher, A Wordsmith, An avid reader and of course A fighter!

She taught us all to dig deep stand your ground and fight! She showed us all to find courage and strength during difficult times in our lives. 

My fond memories of us are having the Capogreco family over to our house for supper and games! We played interactive videogames altogether with our phones. We shared lots of laughs together that night. We loved going out for sushi suppers together! BBQ's in the yard, swimming in the pool...

Laura and I played word games together via apps on our phones together for years!
She got me into so many of them, I used to jokingly curse her for making me become addicted! I loved the challenge when playing with Laura. She was so eloquent with her vocabulary that it made me want to beef up my game! She made me want to be better so I could beat her! Lol

Laura has impacted everyones lives who knew her, how could she not?! 
She was a strong empowered women with fire in her belly, and passion in her heart, she never shyed away from a battle or her ideals. I always admired that quality in her. 

Laura, may you rest in peace my friend. We will never forgot the light in your eyes.
