Richard James Patterson

Richard James Patterson (April 1, 1930-March 19, 2016) At 5:43 am passed away peacefully at the age of 85 surrounded by his family. He leaves to mourn, Marcey, his wife of 64 years; his children Michael (Angie Patterson), Debbie (Randy McDonough), and Lynne (Rick Fougere); his grandchildren, Tammy, Dave, Julie, Jeff, Amanda, Steven and Brandon; his great-grandchildren Evelyn and Mikhiel. He is also survived by his brothers Harold (Shirley), Eric, sister Arden (Neil McDonald) brother-in- laws Willie, Andy, Louis, George, Billy Gardner, Don Smart; sister-in-law Annette Smart and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Richard was a payroll manager at General Electric and City of Cote St. Luc and co-owned 3 Marcia clothing stores. He will be remembered for his profound interest in NCAA Notre Dame football, boxing, creating, maintaining sports statistics and constant sense of humour. RICHARD was very thankful for all the calls and visitors throughout his long illness and to all the caregivers at the “Centre d’hébergement de Saint-Eustache.

The family will receive condolences at Complexe Funéraire Guay (Réseau Dignité),146 Saint-Louis, Saint-Eustache, Tel: 514-871-2020, www.dignitequebec.com, on Monday, March 21st, 2016 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 9 to 10:00 a.m. A celebration of Richard's life will take place on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Parish, 1001 chemin Oka, Deux-Montagnes thence to St-Eustache Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
