She was the devoted wife of the late Norman Simon and leaves behind her cherished children: Lisa (Darren), Barry (Stephanie), Todd (Sonia), and the late Tracy. Viola was a loving grandmother to Shane, Jacob, Tyler, Colby, and Brooke, and a proud great-grandmother to Serina. She is also survived by her brother Milton.
A time to offer condolences will be held at Les Salons Funéraires Guay, located at 146 rue St-Louis, St-Eustache, QC, J7R1Y2, Canada, on January 9, 2026, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. A celebration of her life will follow at the same venue from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
The inhumation will take place at Cimetière Kanehsatàke (Oka), located at 186 Rue des Cèdres, Kanehsatàke, QC, J0N1E0, Canada, on January 10, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Viola Hattie Gabriel will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
