Filemon Guitron

Filemon Guitron passed away September 23, 2011 at his daughter Elizabeth Nunez home in Calistoga. Filemon is survived by his wife Josefina Guitron and his 8 children Joel, Coty, Hugo, Oralia, Julie, Elizabeth, Yesenia & Edith. 26 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was born in Mexico on November 22, 1937. He moved to Los Angeles, CA at age 30 and worked as a waiter for many years, eventually, he moved to St. Helena and then to Calistoga where he lived for over 15 years. He part-owned Taqueria Santa Rosa in Calistoga, where he also worked. People in Calistoga got to know him for delivering pizza for La Prima Pizza. A Funeral mass was held last Monday September 26, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. His cremated Remains will be taken to El Grullo, Jalisco, Mexico. Arrangements under the direction of Morrison Funeral Chapel, St. Helena, CA.
