Agnes Miller Dewar Saunders

January 14, 1918 - March 9, 2013

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nessie on March 09, 2013 after a brief fight with lung cancer at Charles Lemoyne Hospital. Predeceased 21 years ago by her husband Fred. Matriarch of her family, she embraced life right to the end. Devoted to her family, dedicated to her friends, she was happiest among those close to her. She loved meeting new people and saw a room full of strangers as an opportunity to make new friends. She shared life with vigour, loved travel and cards games and lunches with close friends. Born in Rutherglen(Scotland) married Frederick Saunders while he was serving in the Royal Canadian Army in 1943, she was serving her nation in England in a munitions factory. After the war they settled in St. Hubert Quebec, were they lived for over fifty years. She leaves behind two children, Roy and Heather, her Grandchildren, Kellie, Scott, Tracy and Sean. Great grandchildren, Jeremy, Vanessa, Courtney, Paige, Shelby, Matteo, Cecilia, Marisa and Pietro. Mother-in-law to Robert (Bob) and Shema. She will be sadly missed by all.

Refreshments in the church hall, followed by burial at Laurentide Memorial Gardens,8145 Ch De Chambly Saint-Hubert, QC J3Y 5K2. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated
