She fully lived every moment of a long life and she leaves an incredible legacy, highlighted by many great memories and a deep, deep love from everyone she touched. She was an extraordinary woman, a wonderful artist, and a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Soon after obtaining her Fine Arts degree from the Ontario College of Art, she turned to her lifelong passion and created vibrant abstract works of art in many different media over the years, including copper-enameling, ski wax on fabric, plexiglass, and acrylic painting. Her ability to tell a tale through her art, to touch others with it and through it, and to be able to add beauty to the lives of others, brought such tremendous joy and meaning to her all of her long life.
She is survived by her daughters, Caroline and Jennifer, and her sons, Stephen Orton and Marcel Quirion, and Caroline’s partner Denis Coté, her grandchildren Matthew, Anna, Demetrios, Aleksi, Caitlin and Rizann, her siblings Gordon, Elizabeth and Donald Campbell, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. We loved her dearly and will miss her greatly.
There will be a celebration of life service for Anne at Les Jardins Intérieurs, Saint Lambert, Quebec on Saturday the 12th of November, 2022 at 10:00.
