I was greatly saddened to hear of Carol’s passing!  My deepest condolences to you both.  I have  fond memories of Carol. She was a kind and generous soul.  May she Rest In Peace.  God bless!

Dear Bernie and Evelyn, 
My sincere condolences for the loss of your best friend, wife and mom. 

Carol and I were neighbours and friends on Veronique St in Brossard and I remember the sleepovers we had and how much fun we used to have playing pretend.

I wish you courage and may God give you strength.  

I didn't really know Carol all that well- we talked at times at various events at church.  She seemed so sweet and a quiet person, very gentle and giving.  Her illness touched me and I prayed very often for her and for you her husband and  for Evelyn.  I am saddened to hear that she has passed.  My sincerest condolences to you both.  May she rest in peace & may you both lean on each other & find strength now and always.

Enjoyed the beautiful times with Carol on Harper/Driscoll families yearly camping reunions at Bon Echo Provincial Park in late 60s / early 70s.

Carol and I worked together and became friends many years ago and although I moved away almost 30 years ago we still kept in touch every once in a while. I will always remember Carol as the Brownie mom who had a calm presence and way about her that made everyone feel better just by knowing her.  I cannot thank you all enough for entering our Guiding family and sharing in so very many wonderful moments through the years with us. I could always count on Carol for almost anything I needed and your family's invitations to our unit(s) to come and enjoy a magical Christmas with Mr.  and Mrs. Claus are permanently etched in my memory. The last time I saw her in the hospital she was looking so good and hopeful for a full recovery.  I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear this news.  We will miss her. May she rest in peace.

Carol always had a smile on her face, and this is what I will remember about her most.  Then our times in the van, the stories, the chicken jokes, life.  It was always real, no masks.  That is what makes a true friendship and I am blessed to have called Carol my friend.  It was a blessing to be able to visit you since you entered hospital in Sept. and to be able to pray with and over you.  You will be missed dear friend.  I will keep an eye on Bernie and Evelyn for you and be there to help whenever needed.
