It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Christopher John Patrick Frame, of St. Lambert, Quebec, on December 14, 2021 at the age of 70 years. He was the son of John and Ella Frame (nee King), of Greenfield Park, Quebec.
He will be lovingly remembered by his spouse of 47 years, Barbara (nee Burnett); daughters Olivia and Christa (Michel); grandchildren Minera, Austin, Brandon (Olivia), Victor, Zachary (Christa), and sisters Karen (Bill) and Laurie. He was a loving uncle to Erica, Tammy and Felicia (Karen), Brandy (Laurie), Rachel and Vanessa (Deena) and Jordan (Jenny), and great uncle to Jesse (Channing), Tyjah, Michaela, Nicole, Noah, Nathan and Georgia (Karen) and Ella (Laurie). He will also be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Janice (Lester), brother-in-law Grant, nephew Jeffery and nieces Pamela (Aaron) and Kelly (Cory), and nephew Kyle (Grant). He was a great uncle to Paige, Benjamin, Lily (Pamela) and Abigail, Cara (Kelly). Chris was predeceased by his brother Russell and sisters Jenny and Deena.
Chris started his career in the 1970’s at Saguenay Shipping, then went on to work for Minshall Forwarding, which led to his long career in forwarding. He eventually launched his own business in forwarding, a business he continued to this day. Chris was a hard worker but also played hard. He loved all sports, but especially softball, bowling, golf and his beloved hockey, a love he has passed down to his grandsons. He was a true competitor in all he did and always gave his all.
For anyone who knew Chris, they know he loved life. He was up for anything, whether it was a card game, a board game, dipping his feet in the freezing cold ocean, sailing on Lac l’Achigan, or spending time with the many children in the family who adored him. He loved going to the Burnett farm in the Eastern Townships where he and his family enjoyed many nature walks and working the farm. But his greatest enjoyment came from spending the summers at his cottage in the Laurentians with his daughters and grandchildren.
Chris was a true free spirit with a great sense of humour. He was a tease, which his grandchildren and nieces and nephews can attest to, but was a good sport and could take it as well as dish it out. Children and dogs alike loved him, which is a testament to his character. His great nephews and nieces remember him as the life of the party and always up for an adventure or a good game of cards. He will be sorely missed.
All are welcome to join his family for a Celebration of Life that will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 1-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. at the
Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, Dignity Memorial, located at 307 rue Riverside, Saint Lambert, Quebec J4P 1A7.
Chris gave in death as he gave in life; he was a lung, kidney and liver donor.
Any donations on his behalf can be made to the SPCA Monteregie or Foundation du CHUM, or any charity of your choice
