

D’Arcy Watson Pallett passed away at The Montreal General Hospital on Sunday, August 13th, 2023. Thank you to the doctors and nurses on the 15th floor who saw D’Arcy through the last few days and gave comfort care. D’Arcy died peacefully in his sleep. Thank you also to the members of the Dialysis Team for all their support and care.
D’Arcy was born in Sudbury, ON, on June 4th, 1940, but lived most of his life in Montreal. He was a teacher for many years and a caregiver to seniors at The Teapot in Lachine and Catholic Community Services in Montreal.
D’Arcy is survived by his brother Gordon (Maureen), daughters Laura and Heidi (Martin), and son Christopher. He was grandpa to Graham (Katrine), Elaina (Jamie), and Gabriel (Taylor) Derepentigny; Brendan and Brian Pallett; Zachary(Stephanie). Shane, Aidan (Aya), and Owen Rodgers, and great-grandfather to Charlotte and Victoria Derepentigny. He is remembered by nephews Michael (Kelli), Steven (Sarah), and Jonathan (Catherine), and niece Terry Prior (Steve).
D'Arcy is fondly remembered by his family and many friends. He brought music and laughter to those he drove to The Teapot and meetings and appointments in Lachine and Montreal.
The family would like to thank Marina Harry, a special friend of D’Arcy’s, for her unfailing care and compassion over many years. He will be missed.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 17th, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. at the
Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, Dignity Memorial, 307 Promenade Riverside, St-Lambert, J4P1A7
The funeral will be at St Mary’s Parish, 125 Rue Grove, Greenfield Park, QC., on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 11:00 am.
