1921-2012
Passed away suddenly on Thursday,November 22nd,2012. He was a long time resident of Saint Lambert. After serving in WW2 with the Canadian Forces overseas in Italy, he returned home and worked as an accountant at the Red Path Sugar Company for forty years.
Photography was one of his passionate hobbies.
Don was pre-deceased by his lovely war bride Blanche "Babs" Pillings, his mother Frieda (Harland) Anderson, his father Wilbert Anderson and his sisters Bess Geddes,Frieda Storen and Joyce Young.
He is deeply mourned by his only son Jim (Diana), his grandson Shawn (Angela) and his three great-grand children Shawnte,Cael and Jaida and his nieces Dawn (Storen) Best (Doug) and family from Perth,Ontario, Sandra (Storen) McBay (Rick) and family from Beamsville, Ontario, Judy Kelly (Paul) and family from Lakeland, Florida and nephew Brian Storen (Linda) and family from Victoria B.C.
Don leaves behind his longtime companion and soul-mate Anne Ole and he will be sadly missed by her and her family.
Visitation on Friday,November 30th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home in Saint Lambert.
In lieu of flowers,donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
