Born in Isle Maligne, Quebec, on November 17, 1928, and died peacefully at home in Saint-Lambert on August 8, 2013 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Marie, their four caring children Peter (Marlene), Anne (Murray), Stephen (Janice) and David (Rosaline), their ten wonderful grandchildren Tim, Kathleen Meredith, Vivien, Andrew, Michael, Ryan, William, Lauren and Justin. He is also survived by his sisters Edith (the late Bob) and Emily (Sam) and his sister-in-law Denise (the late Harry). He will be missed by his many cousins, nephews and nieces, and grandnephews and grandnieces. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital, the palliative care unit of the Montreal General Hospital and the Champlain CLSC.
