Fred was my manager at sunlife in the 90’s. I am so saddened to hear about his passing. I will always remember how cool he was as a boss, how kind, how blunt :) I also remember talking with Fred about a mutual love of English history...and one morning, walking into the office and finding a  huge huge (1000´s of pages) book plopped on my desk called SARUM by Edward Rutherford. To this day it is my favourite book of all time and I pass the same book on to others with the same enthusiam as he did.  Rip Fred.

Our family was so saddened to hear about Uncle Fred's passing. We have so many memories of times spent with Fred and family at Nannys, Ina and Chippies, at our home, up at the camp, and in Montreal. So many memories!!!! We will miss him dearly. We send our deepest love and support at this your time of sorrow.

I have known Freddy since our childhood days in Tide Head. I was very saddened to hear that I won't be having coffee with him in Halifax this summer. R.I.P. Freddy and Happy birthday.

Fred was my first "real job" boss; he gave me my start. I still remember him telling me I could not wear sweatpants to work. Remembering Fred brings a smile to my face, and I will miss him. My sincere condolences to Diane, Darren, Krista and families.
