George was born December 12, 1959 in Montreal Qc and was a man that loved nature, his pets and lived a simple life enriched by his friends. He recently returned to his home town area to start a new path after encountering a crossroad. He was creative and spontaneous. Forever a lover of the sun he would spend hours peddling his bike to various green spaces. He was a jack of all trades and a master of drum rifts. George was very much like this description of a drummer: “one of the guys way in the back, behind all that stuff, giving music its spine and drive, its cohesion and contour and a huge chunk of its personality, often without getting the credit they deserve.” A good drummer can play stuff he doesn't "know", stuff he's never heard before, even, and make it groove. You could tell that drumming was his life.
He is survived by his two sisters, Lucy Daigle and Elizabeth Daigle and two brothers, Kenneth Daigle and Webster Daigle and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
