It is with deep sadness that the family of Henry Walter Kaeslin announces his peaceful passing on December 14, 2025, at the age of 70, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Henry was born in Montreal on January 11, 1955, to Walter and Maria Kaeslin.
He grew up in St. Bruno surrounded by the laughter and love of his sisters Ingrid and Sheila.
Henry was well known around the community of St. Bruno as his hobby of collecting bottles and cans ingratiated him to many of his neighbours for over 40 years. He was the original recycler.
He loved his family with a big heart, and was a pillar in our family.
He is predeceased by his adoring mother, Maria and survived by his father, Walter, his sisters Ingrid Spriggs (Barry) and Sheila MacKay (Craig). He was the loving uncle to Ashley, Kirsten, Stephanie, Reilly, Kelly, Damon and Kyra. The Graf family were a second family to Henry as well.
One of the highlights of his past summer was introducing his grand nephews, Marcus and Sebastian and grand niece, Aviana, to the wonders of Dairy Queen.
Special thanks for the compassion shown by the doctors and staff at Pierre Boucher Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada.
