My sympathies to the friends and family of Mr. Thurber.
I have wonderful memories of time spent at the cottage in South Stukley with the family.

Mr Thurber had a great sense of humour and liked to joke with Charles’ friends.

He will be missed

Offering our deepest condolences in the recent passing of “mon oncle Jean”. There is DEFINITELY a Party going on as the “3 amigos” (Jean, Elmo & Bob) are once again together.
We often talk and remember those New Years Day Buffets at Auntie Pauline’s where WE ALL WERE TOGETHER. So much fun. Our thoughts and prayers to Johanne, Allan, Charles and Mimi and family. Your dad was a wonderful, caring human being who helped everyone- even trying to teach my dad speak french!
God Bless xx

Everyone liked MonOncle Jean. He was smart, witty and down to earth. But for me,he was my forever protector. He always seemed to pop up when my Dad couldn't; through my teens and later through my divorce and beyond, wanting to make sure that I was alright. He would often show up at the St-Lambert train station where I worked,to say hi.
Just as I know Dad says hi,when I see geese flying high above me,I will now, in the same way, think of Jean.

Rest in Peace MonOncle

So many fond memories of our life with "Mon Oncle"! Years of great Christmases and camping vacations, Mon Oncle always made us laugh with his great sense of humour and pranks. Free corn on the cob collected in the middle of the night , stories of his hunting escapades and his love for his family made him precious to all who knew him. Mon Oncle will be missed but his legacy of a life well lived will always remain with us. May God welcome you as you join our other guardians angels watching over us. Thank you for enriching our lives, XXX

Today I loss my father as he passed away from natural causes. He was a mentor, motivator, teacher, advisor, family man and very witty. I will miss his life experiences and weekly calls. May God bless you Dad.
