Julia Anne Holden

February 6, 1932 – December 12, 2018
Obituary of Julia Anne Holden
IN THE CARE OF

Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Homes

After a long and happy life she passed away on December 12th at the Charles Lemoyne Hospital at the age of 86.

Predeceased by her second husband Jean Roffi who was the love of her life, she is survived by her children Victoria Garred (François Lapointe) and Peter Garred (Sandra Kayem) as well as her four grandchildren Julie, Philip, Sarah and David.

Julia Anne lived in Montreal all of her life and graduated from McGill University in 1953. She loved the theatre and was very active in the McGill Red and White Revue, the Players Club and La Société Française. She went on to teach drama and direct plays in various high schools around the city.

She had many fond memories from all the years that she spent on Brome Lake and she cherished being close to nature where she was surrounded by trees and ducks.

Visitation will be held on Sunday December 16th from 2 pm until 5 pm at Collins Clarke McGillivray Funeral Home at 307 Riverside Drive in St. Lambert.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Red Cross would be appreciated.
