It was her favourite holiday.
Daughter of the late Archibald Brooks and Nellie Terrell, and married to the late Kenneth Millar, June is aunt to Doris Blackmore and great aunt to Amy Blackmore. June lived a life of great faith and devotion to the United Church, and her tremendous spirit, dedication and generosity will be missed by the many whose lives she touched.
A memorial service will take place at Greenfield Park United Church (335 Springfield) on January 7 at 2 pm, with visitation in the sanctuary from 1-2 pm. There will be a gathering in the downstairs hall afterward.
