Beloved husband of Linda Lulic for 36 years—and her partner in life for 45—Louis leaves behind his cherished son, Andre; his brother, John; his sister, Betka; his mother, Jean; and countless friends and colleagues who will continue to carry forward his warmth, kindness, and quiet perseverance.
Teaching was not just Louis’ profession—it was his calling. From patiently helping his sister learn to read, to teaching Andre the many lessons of life (including how to fix things around the house), to guiding a generation of high school students, Louis had a rare gift for reaching people. He believed deeply in the potential of others and took genuine pride in seeing them grow and succeed.
Louis’ love of skiing was matched only by his love of travel. In the early years, he and Linda explored Europe and the Caribbean together. Later, their son Andre joined them for many sunny adventures on the beaches of the Dominican Republic and Cuba—trips filled with laughter, relaxation, and treasured family memories.
Those who knew Louis will remember his generous spirit, his thoughtful guidance, and his wonderful sense of humour. He had a way of making people feel at ease and reminding them that even life’s most difficult challenges could be met with patience, determination, and a smile.
A celebration of Louis’ life will be held on Sunday, March 22, at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, 307 Riverside, St-Lambert, QC J4P 1A7, from 1pm to 4pm where family and friends will gather to share photos, stories, and memories in his honour.
Messages and memories may also be shared on this page.
Louis, wait for us on the other side so that one day we can once again share a café, laugh together, and enjoy your unforgettable sense of humour.
