They say friends are the  family we choose. This holds true here, as I treated you as the brother I never had. 
I befriended you in our early years of high school and concider myself lucky to have known you since.  The memories we shared, these are the things that will keep us close despite death. Your witty jokes, that cheeky smile, the over exaggerated hand gestures...all this would shift just about anyone's mood to historical laughter. Luke and I have worked many jobs together, I always felt blessed to work by the sides of a bestfriend. It was practically impossible to be down in the dumps around you. This is why, it pains me soo to have lost you soo soon. Those we love and lose are always connected by heartstrings. Thanks for all the good times ol friend. You are loved by all and will forever be missed.

Seeing the pictures of Luke as a little boy remind me of the years when and Luke and his sisters  were such close friends of our children -- playing in the back yard, first days at La Petite Ecole and Jubilee, soccer, Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers, birthday parties…  Luke will always be part of our lives and we treasure these memories.  Our hearts go out to you all during this very sad time and we hope you can take comfort from the memories and the many good times to help sustain you and give you strength in the days to come.

Growing up, Luke was one of my first "best friends". I remember my first sleepover playing ToeJam & Earl on Sega in Luke's basement and laughing together at Eric Lindros losing the '97 Stanley Cup Final. 

We lost touch after we started going to different schools,
but reconnected and bonded years later over our love for Radiohead. He proved to be the bigger fan, being first in a seemingly endless lineup of people at the gate when I arrived to their show at Parc Jean Drapeau in '08.

 I was always happy to see Luke whenever circumstances aligned and am deeply saddened by this loss. My condolences to the family.

Dear Jackie and family . Coaching hockey years ago gave me the opportunity to meet Luke . Through the years that I coached him he quickly became one of the most respectful players . His teammates found his fun demeanor and great attitude to be very addictive. Once I stopped coaching I lost touch with many of the players . A year and a half ago in the height of the pandemic we decided to not have our annual golf and party fundraiser which is designed to help families in need . One of the fundraisers regular participants decided to start an online donation which Luke must have read about . He contacted me and asked how he could help and donate . That alone made me very proud of him . Next thing  I knew I received a 100 dollar donation. I messaged him back to say 100 dollars was too generous but he insisted and said he really wanted to help and it made him happy to do it . I was shocked to hear of his passing . My deepest condolences from my entire family to yours . Rest In Peace my goalie . Coach Brent
