Maureen Grace Robinson

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mom, Maureen Grace Robinson on October 24, 2019 in her 80th year. She dedicated her life to her family and in helping others and will be remembered for her gentle spirit and steadfast love. Her strength through difficult times and enduring commitment to those she loved will forever remain with her family and friends.

She is survived by seven children – Deborah (Ron-Late), Linda, Diane, Donna (Ross), Richard, Wanda and Patrick; twelve grandchildren – Jason, Rony, Patrick, Tanya, Jackie, Angie, Danny, Dave, Dana, Gregory, Jaymz and Danika; ten great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; four siblings – George Jr-Late (Lise), Richard, Bobby-Late (Beatrice-Late), and Barbara (Hugh).

She now reunites with her parents, George E. Robinson and Elizabeth Robinson (nee Hébert), her husband Michael Smith, as well as her brothers, other family members and friends.

The family is especially grateful for the loving and tender care provided by the staff at CHSLD Trefle D’Or who provided immeasurable comfort and care to Mom and to her family.

As per mom’s last wishes, a small, private service will be held in her honor at home on her birthday November 19th.

In lieu of flowers, donation to the Cancer Society will be greatly appreciated.
