peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2013.
At this time we lost a very loved person who
will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Myrtle is survived by her loving husband Alick,
her children Larry (Catherine), Verna (Bob),
Lorraine (Jackson), and grandchildren Marc
(Sara), Eric (Chelsea), Cynthia, great
grandchild Sophia, her two brothers Rod (late
Norma), Art (late Madeline) along with
numerous nieces, nephews and their families,
and predeceased by her two brothers Ted
(Elsie), Gerald (Phyllis). The most precious
thing to Myrtle was Alick and her family, all of
who she loved unconditionally. She was the
happiest when family was together and she
could fuss over them. A longtime resident of
Greenfield Park Myrtle was a member of St
Paul's Anglican Church, the Greenfield Park
softball team and the Cameron School of
Dance. Myrtle loved to walk and could often
be seen walking around the Park as she
visited both relatives and friends. She had a
passion for baking and spent hours and hours
in the kitchen. Everyone always said that
Myrtle had such a wonderful smile and with
this smile she could brighten up anyone's
day. She was the type of person who held on
dearly to life and kept her beautiful smile to
the end. A very special thanks to Margaret
who not only provided endless care for Myrtle
but the entire family as well. We do not know
what we would have done without her. A
private ceremony for Myrtle will be held later
this month, with a memorial service in the
spring. Condolences may be sent to
