Born and raised in NDG, Bob was a proud Montrealer and Canadian, always sporting a large embroidered maple leaf on his blazer for special occasions. He taught for 35 years within the city and was a popular teacher at Westmount High School until his retirement.
Predeceased by his parents, Onesiphore ‘Dick’ LeBlanc and Catherine Wallace Boyle, as well as his big brother, Henry ‘Harry’ Joseph Omer LeBlanc. He will be missed by his daughter, Catherine (Daniel), grandchildren Clara and Elliot; his niece Deborah (John) and grandnephew Trevor; and, stepson William (Allison). Bob will be remembered as a sociable Legion member, a terrific teacher and cryptic crossword master. His impeccable memory was as sharp as a tack to his last breath.
A memorial celebration will be held at a later date.
