A long time Saint Lambert resident, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 30th, 2016, in her 91st year. She is survived by her son Raymond (Yolande), and her wonderful grand-children David and Catherine Han, by her sister Catherine, along with many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Leo Francis and her son Frank, by brothers Raymond and James Martin (Buck), by sisters Marie and Joan.
Ruth will be best remembered for her love of the family, her strong faith, her dry sense of humor, her amazing baking skills and her fondness for cats.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, August 8th at 11 am, at St Mary’s Parish, 125 rue Grove, Greenfield Park, Qc J4V 2X2.
Interment to take place at a later date in Nova Scotia. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth’s memory to The Fragile X Research Foundation of Canada, 167 Queen Street W, Brampton, On L6Y 1M5 would be appreciated.
