Dear Dave, Amanda, and Jeff,

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Vicki was an extraordinary person—kind, lively, curious, and full of warmth. I feel grateful to have known her not only as a co-worker, but as a friend. We shared so many meaningful moments, including our time travelling together in China. Those adventures, the laughter, and the stories we brought back are memories I will always treasure.

I know how profoundly each of you enriched her life, and how deeply she loved you. Losing someone so important leaves a space that can never truly be filled, but I hope you can find comfort in the beautiful memories you created together, and in knowing how many people were touched by her presence.

Please know that my thoughts are with you. If there’s anything you need—now or in the coming weeks—please don’t hesitate to reach out.

It’s hard to say goodbye to a lifelong friend. The Bloxham/Barber/Sheltus families go back over 70 years. We’ve shared such good memories not only in St. Lambert but especially at Holiday Point in North Hero, Vermont. Beyond being a next door neighbors and friend to us, Vicki and Dave were also special friends to our parents. Debbie and I send our deepest condolences to the family on the loss of Vicki. Beyond her talents in gardening, photography and cooking her kindness was a character trait that influenced us all. Brothers Skip and Norm along with sister Lou Ann want you to know our thoughts are with you Dave, Amanda, Jeff and Sandy as well as the whole Barber clan.

Many great visits to your cottages in Vermont & your Owls Head Condo.
Our fondest memories were the times when Vicki joined us in New Smyrna Beach & St. Augustine. There were fun times exploring beaches, gardens & Turtle Rehab  Centers.

It is with the fondest memories from a young age to now that I remember Vicki. She was always accommodating and so very welcoming  to both of us even when we would show up UN-announced at Holiday Point. From my years of having a property there she was always so cheerful,a great friend and wonderful neighbor.  She will be missed but not forgotten!!!

I remember the first time I met Vicky and Dave as they walked through the front door of her parents cottage at Holiday point .Vicky was only 18 years old..  she always had a big smile and bubbly personality!
Through the years, Sandy would tell me about what a green thumb Vicky had with all her beautiful flowers in her garden. She also seemed to enjoy cooking for her holiday gatherings. Family meant everything to her! I know it’s hard right now, but try to remember all those happy  memories and  that Vicky will always be with you.

Dear Dave, Amanda and Jeff,

What a shock to learn this sad news. Please know that I am thinking of you at this time.  I never knew that my Jamie and Vicki shared the same birthday!  

What I remember about her was her calmness during those heady years of our kids  ski racing!  Always present but wisely not at the front of the madness of the sport! 

And. …..how she loved baking!!
