Alan Albert Bistrick

Alan Albert BISTRICK, age 86, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Alan was born November 22, 1934, to Alex Albert and Florence (nee: Henry) Bistrick. They have preceded him in death. Alan is survived by; his beloved wife of 62 years Joan R. (nee: Taylor) Bistrick; his daughters: Susan Bistrick, Stacey DiMario (Paul); nieces, nephews, and other relatives and many friends.

Alan was a proud graduate of the University of Rhode Island. He was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He was retired from the U.S. Navy with a rank of Lieutenant, and was serving on the U.S.S. Saratoga during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was a successful business owner in the printing industry. Alan loved food and wine, and entertaining - being a gourmet chef was his hobby. He was an only child, and consequently dearly loved being with his extended family. He loved travelling with his wife and friends.

A private graveside service will be held at Bellerieve Cemetery at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
