I am a cousin of Albert and when I was growing up we spent many happy sunrays together-- playing ball, talking, eating laughing..  Wonderful memories of Albert, Stanley, Aunt Tillie and Uncle Ben.  May G-D bless them all and their families.

As I was growling up, visiting Albert, Stanly and their parents was always a wonderful time.  They all  were loving wonderful people.  I shall always remember Albert, Stanly, Aunt Tillie and Uncle Ben for the joy and love. they gave me.  May their memory always be a blessing and inspiration to others.

For year as I grew up, many Sunday afternoons in St. Louis  were spent with the "Spots" , the name we called Aunt Tillie, Uncle Bennie, Albert and Stanley.  They had a real name, of course, (Horwitz) but perhaps to maintain a sense of privacy and to sound more American, they called themselves  Spots.  We played ball in the park and then ate supper at their house where Aunt Tillie served a delicious meal.  I loved being with the "Spots", especially with Albert who was delightful to be with-- funny, smart, playful.  I was so happy when I heard he had found a nice Jewish girl and they were getting married.  Sunday afternoon was precious to me because my immigrant  parents worked 6 1/2 days a week in their small neighborhood store and the few hours we spent with the "Spots" were precious.   The memory of  my time  with Aunt Tillie, Uncle Ben, Albert and Stanley is precious and I am so sorry I never took the time to tell them how much I loved and appreciated them.  May G-D bless them  and may their memory be a blessing to many.    

Through out my childhood and into my teen years, my parents and I frequently spent Sunday afternoon and evening with Aunt Tillie, Uncle Ben, Albert and Stanley.  Often we met in the park and played ball and afterwards we would go to their home and Aunt Tillie would serve us a delicious meal.  What a wonderful time it was for me.  Albert was  delightful and fun to be around,;    I adored the whole family and  Albert was our fun leader.   As a youngster  I wanted to marry Albert and laugh and play every day.  The whole family was delightful.  I did not get to see Albert marry and have a family  because my husband and I moved after we were married.  But I knew that Albert would make the very finest husband and father and I was so sorry not to be able to witness that.  But I never forgot the golden Sundays spent with the "Spots" (Spot was the name of their linoleum store).  I hope his family receives this and hears about their wonderful  loved one who meant so much to me and my family.  May G-d bless  the whole Horwitz (Spot)  family and may  their memory always be a blessing.
