Allen B. Norland

Allen is survived by; daughter Cynthia (Thomas) Bira; and daughter Laura (William) Gray; grandchildren Jacqueline Bira, Tyler Gray and Jordan Gray; sister Norma Eimers and his best friend, Art Scruggs.

Allen was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Norland (nee Leffew); father Oscar Norland and mother Alta Norland (nee Ziegler); sister Marietta Sampson; brother Donald Norland; brother Martin Norland and sister Myrna Nord (Jim survives).

Allen was a member of the Oakville Elks Lodge and the Lemay American Legion. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and was employed at DeBasio furniture for over 40 years. Our loving uncle, great-uncle and friend to many.

Visitation for Allen is from 4-8 pm, Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63125. There is a visitation at Gethsemane Lutheran Church at 765 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125 from 9-10 am Thursday, November 14, 2019. The funeral service follows at 10:00 AM. A committal service will follow at St. Trinity Cemetery, 2160 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63125.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Allen's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.
