Anastasia Broderick

Mary (Stasia) Broderick, age 89, of St. Louis, Mo., passed away on March 5, 2016. She was born March 1, 1927, in Hardinsberg, Kentucky, a daughter of William and Beatrice Mattingly, nee Alexander. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Broderick.

Mrs. Broderick is survived by children Richard, Daniel and Douglas Broderick and Anne (Bruce) Klein; and grandchildren Andrew, Philip, Conner, Gabrielle and Delaney . She is the dear sister of Robert, John, James, Mark and the late William, Louise, Francis, Veronica, Doris, Janice and Jean.

She was a log-time parishioner of St. Matthias the Apostle Church, loved to travel and spend time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Broderick was a 50-year employee of C.V. Mosby Medical Publishing. She also served as a volunteer with the Pink Sisters – Mt. Grace and a volunteer for the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Memorial Donations are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association of St. Louis.

A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, March 10, 2016, at St. Matthias the Apostle Church, 796 Buckley Road, St. Louis, Mo. 63125. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, Mo. 63125
