Angela battled Multiple Myeloma like a warrior for 19 years, placing her faith in God, the care of her doctors and the support of her family. A true believer in science, anchored by her resounding faith in God, she went to chemotherapy for many years, week after week, with a book in her hand and a smile on her face. Her will and determination fueled her fight, but ultimately COVID-19 took her life. She was an artist and painted watercolors for many years, often going “back to school” at nights to make sure she could care for her family and home while continuing to pursue her passion in the arts. She loved walking, shopping, trips to the beach and spending time with her family. Sunday night dinners, Saturday night movie night, family vacations and reunions with her siblings are what fed her spirit.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 55 years, Theodore J. Cicero; children, Kelly Nolan (Jamey), Mark Cicero (Chrissy), Sandy McBride (Tom) and Jennifer Hoffman (Matt); and 12 grandchildren, Joey, Teddy, Katie, Tommy, Ryan, Charlie, Will, Ellie, Connor, Noah, Molly and Mia. Angela grew up in a large family surrounded by love and leaves behind five siblings, Fred Masciangelo (Fran), Lini Destafney (Bernie), Joe Masciangelo (Connie), Pete Masciangelo (Kathy) and Mark Masciangelo (Patty). Angela leaves behind many friends including her dearest friends, Doris and Norbert Sewing.
