Ann B. Boehm, age 100, of Webster Groves, Missouri passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Blaho and Katerina Blahova, along with her husband, William T. Boehm and her beloved son, Thomas Snyder. Ann leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion in the hearts of her daughter, Christine (Randy) Mindak, cherished granddaughters, Elizabeth “Blair” Mindak, Krisan (Clint) Mindak-Lewis, and Heidi Schmitt, and a great grandson, Danny Flanigan. Her family will always hold her close in their hearts, remembering her strength, kindness, and enduring love.
Ann’s life was a tapestry of remarkable experiences and achievements. As a talented oil painting artist, she shared her creativity with the world through her beautiful works of art, some of which she even sold, leaving a lasting impression on those who were fortunate to own them.
In her younger years, Ann dedicated her time and compassion to various causes, volunteering her services at the Society for the Blind, The American Red Cross, and Laclede Groves, her cherished residence. Her commitment to caring for others extended to her role as a “candy striper” at the hospital, where her warm smile and support brought comfort to countless patients.
Ann’s journey began as an immigrant from Czechoslovakia at a young age, and she carried the strength and resilience of her homeland with her throughout her life. In her native country, she was a gymnast, showcasing her athleticism and determination. Ann’s professional life was marked by success and an unwavering work ethic. She was a dedicated business manager, and she took immense pride in her accomplishments.
A visitation for Ann will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Laclede Groves in the Chapel at 723 S. Laclede Station Road, St. Louis, MO 63119. A funeral service will occur at 12:00 PM at the same location. Ann will be laid to rest at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 6901 MacKenzie Road, St. Louis, MO 63123 following the services.
