Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family.
Beloved son of the late Anthony D & Mary C. (nee Gaffney) Castaldi.
Loving brother of Patricia (the late Obert) Cotham, Christine (the late John) Volker, Concetta (William) Risk, Deborah (the late Dale) Kaikkonen, and Linda Castaldi.
Our dear Brother-in-law, Uncle, Great Uncle, and Friend to many.
He is predeceased by his brothers John, Donald, and Joseph Castaldi and sisters Arline, Gloria, and Mary Castaldi.
He was also a Special Friend to Don Croxton of Florida and the late Beverly (Freddie) Steen and Doug Pew.
Born in Rhode Island, Tony was the fifth of twelve children. He loved telling stories of his childhood days growing up there with five of his other siblings.
Tony loved cooking, traveling, music, dancing and family game nights. And don't you dare start a game of scrabble without inviting him to join in.
Tony was a daily "couch contestant" for Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Affectionately known as "Bob Barker", he never missed an episode of The Price is Right. He enjoyed watching The Cardinals, The Chiefs and any golf tournament he could find on TV.
Because of our memorable adventures to Las Vegas and the local casinos, he earned the nickname "Cashman" and wore it well.
Tony was generous, colorful and very witty. He never left the house without displaying several religious and Irish lapel pins down the front of his shirt and sporting a cap from his large collection of ball caps.
We will miss him on the beaches of Florida, on the lakes in Missouri, at family game nights, all the holidays and all the wonderful meals we shared together.
Tony was more than just a brother. He was a friend, a confidant, an entertainer, that crazy Uncle and a huge supporter of many charities such as St Jude's, Stray Rescue and The Missouri Home for Boys and Girls.
The memories are endless as is our love for him. As Tony always said, "be careful, stay safe and I love you".
