Dr. Art reopened his father's practice in St. Louis in 1956. He moved his practice to Columbia, IL in 1964. During that time he received post graduate degrees in Roentgenology, Orthopedics and Acupuncture. He was on the post graduate faculty at National College of Chiropractic, and the Board of Trustees at Logan College of Chiropractic. He was also a Chiropractic Knight of the Roundtable, president of the St. Louis and St. Clair County Chiropractic Associations. Dr. Art was a loyal friend, maintaining friendships with classmates from elementary school, CBC, colleagues and patients. His gift was offering honest feedback and listening to help others in need. His smile, firm hand shake and sharp wit made him a sought after friend.
"To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a little better, whether by healthy child, a garden patch or redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is the meaning of success!"
