I have been a friend of Art and Lori's for nearly 40 years.  We have had many laughs, stories, and adventures over the years.  Art was much loved and will be sorely missed.

I had met Art numerous times through our mutual friend, Don Wiegand.  In fact, on August 21st, Art was attending an unveiling of Don't latest pieces of artwork just presented to Pope Francis two days ago. Mr. Seltzer was an incredible and generous benefactor to The Wiegand Foundation.  Thanks, Art, for all you have done for St. Louis over your lifetime.  RIP.

Remembering things we did as kids. My brother  knew all the streetcar and bus lines and would sometimes take me places, usually to car dealerships. We enjoyed sitting in fancy cars and pretending we were going to buy them. 

We would walk together to Washington University, singing opera. Both of us had terrible singing voices but who cared? When we separated to go to our respective classes, Arthur would sing Valentine's farewell to his sister from Faust. 

Arthur called me frequently, just to say “hi” and see how I was doing. He was a kind man whi truly cared about others. I can’t remember any time when he said or did anything mean or cruel, rven when we were kids. I never realized that I would lose him. I don’t know if I told him how much I loved him. 

Art was a true professional and friend.  If you earned Art's trust he would  be you life-long advocate.  I had the honor of working with Art for the majority of my investment career.  He will be missed.  May Art's memory be a blessing to all.  Brian I. Pultman

I have known Art since we were teenagers. He was a very bright and accomplished tax practitioner and a learned jew. I will miss him and i extend my condolences to his wife and family.

Arthur was my first cousin. I grew up with him, Beth and Steve.  Their mother and my Aunt Ida often took care of me many weekends.  We played basketball in the school yard behind their home and baseball in their yard on Eastgate.  I have very fond memories of that time in our lives.  Arthur had a truly photographic memory.  He could memorize an entire page from the phone book.  This gift served him well when he played bridge, read Torah and in his profession as a tax accountant.  Arthur always worked hard and made the best of his abilities.  He serve the B’nai Amoona community faithfully.  He was a devoted son, husband and sibling.  In his unique way he was caring, kind and had an engaging smile.  He will be missed by his family and friends. May his memory be a blessing to all.

My mothers’ second cousin. Although I did not know him well, my sister-in-law has told me they interacted frequently and worked on our genealogy together.  I understand he will be missed.  

We shared a trip to Israel decades ago. He was a learned and dedicated Jew, a devoted son, and a good friend. He will be missed.

I knew Art from shul.  Besides being a wonderful Torah reader, he was a friendly and kind man.  I will miss him.



Arthur was a wonderful man and good friend. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. Truly a heart of gold.

Sorry to hear of your loss.  I worked with Art at the accounting firm which I was a partner. His insights helped me to become a better tax professional.  I know that he will be missed.
