I. BARRY (IZZY) REIN

I knew Barry when we were 14 years old. He was dating Sharon, Applebaum. I was seeing Irma Branson both lived on heman Delmar loop. Six family flat.

WHENEVER YOU WOULD RUN INTO BARRY DICKER, HE HAD A HUGE SMILE THAT LIT UP HIS PUNIM!  ALWAYS, THRILLED TO SEE A PAST FRIEND WAS HIS MOTTO.  
I WILL FOREVER KEEP THAT SCENE IN MY MIND,  HE WAS A GOOD BOYCHICK!

Remembering what a great guy, father, brother and friend  Barry was. He was funny and kind to so many people. We miss you and are in our hearts forever.

We got to know Barry after he met Joayne Palazzolo. We were fortunate to watch their love blossom and grow strong.  We learn of Barry’s love and devotion to family and friends.  We’ll  always remember his love of history and filling his home with collections of memorabilia.  May his memory be a blessing to those that loved him.   

I knew Barry since Jackson Park Elementary School.  We grew up and played in the same neighborhood.  I remember walking to his house in U City and playing the piano they had.  Barry was always so much fun, kind-hearted, and he could dance!   I always enjoyed time talking and laughing at each Reunion.  My sincerest thoughts and heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family and loved ones.

Shocked and saddened by the news.  Friends thru high school.  Roommates in the Sammy house at Mizzou.  Barry was filled with warmth and hilarity. He used to open the window in our room and ask complete strangers what he should wear to class that day. He was unconventional. A good spirit. My deepest sympathies to his family.

We were friends and our parents knew each other too.  In school we played ball together and at the "J" afterward.  Went out socially as married couples several times.  I called him in the middle of the night to share that my son was born.
Stayed in for a little while, kibitzed at Wedge store along with Ricky but sadly we lost touch as our work and family lives took us in different directions.  Sad to see you go.  So long Kurva!   

I knew Barry since advisory in Junior High. Barry was a good and generous man who enriched the lives of many people. Baruch Dayan Ha Emet, May his memory be a blessing for all that knew and loved him. My deepest Sympathies.

My deepest sympathy to Adam, Jake, Ricky and Joanne on the passing of Barry.  Your wonderful memories will ease the pain of your loss. I’m sure that my brother, Myron has welcomed Barry in heaven with a big hug.  

What a great guy. Always a smile and so funny. Our hearts go out to the family and Jay and I are so proud to be part of the Dicker "family". Ben and Sue would be so proud to keep their legacy going beyond their imagination . Barry, we know you are at peace and will never forget how much you meant to so many people.!!!

We are so sad to hear of Barry’s passing.  It was always obvious how much Barry treasured old friendships from high school and college.  He treated us so kindly at Wedge Tire and made us feel special.  We send our heartfelt sympathy to Ricky and all of the Dicker family.

Barry was not only my boss for over 35 years, he was my BEST FRIEND and a person that I looked to as a SECOND FATHER. He not only was a friend to all, but a  WONDERFUL FATHER to his sons, Adam and Jake .He taught me how to be a good employee and helped me to become the person I am today. He will be greatly missed by all and especially by myself and my wife as he was part of our family. I will never forget him as he will always be in my heart. My family sends our deepest sympathy to the DICKER family as they heal from this tremendous loss.

Barry was my brother-in-law for 15 years . He always listened to his own drum . But boy did he enjoy life and his boys! He was a great mentor and diplomat sharing his knowledge whenever he thought it would enlighten someone. He will be greatly missed.

I just learned of this very sad news and am filled with emotion!  Dieck, as some of his Sammy fraternity brothers referred to him, was always a terrific fun loving guy!  Geez this is tough!  May your memory be a blessing Dieck!

Barry was one of my very best friends for so many years.  I am so sad to hear of him passing.  I know his love for his good friend Buzzy was never replaced.  Barry had a strong good heart and truly cared about those less fortunate.  I know Adam and Jake loved their daddy so much.  I am thinking about all of you and I am so sorry for this tremendous loss.  I treasure so many wonderful memories we shared.
