Treasured mother of Mickey Irvin Roth (St. Louis) and the late John Allen Irvin (Dexter, Mo); Beloved grandmother to Amy Irvin Wynn (Nashville, TN) and Michael John Irvin (Long Tree, CO); Loving and loved mother-in-law of Pam Stuever (Dexter) and Jules Roth (St. Louis) who passed on April 19, 2020.
Betty was preceded in death by her much loved husband, J. T. (John Thomas) Irvin.
Betty started teaching in a one room schoolhouse, was a Home Economics teacher and Counselor at Bloomfield High School, and finalized her career as Dexter High School Counselor.
In recent years, she has lived independently at Friendship Village Retirement Community in Chesterfield, MO to be near her daughter.
Betty was cremated and will be buried at Chalk Bluff Cemetery at a future date.
