Brenda Sue Baker

Loving mother to Annette Greene and Laura Kemner; beloved step-mother of Vickie Shoemaker, Terri Mort, Michael Gross, and Douglas Gross; dear grandmother of Jenna and Drew; dear step grandmother to Brenda, Madison, Elizabeth, and the late Richie Bequette; beloved sister of the late John Baker, Elaine Staples, Judy Gannon, and Ruth Ann Smith; loving companion to John Gross. Beloved sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Brenda was a member of United food and Commercial Workers Local 655 for over 25 years after starting her career with Sunline Candy Company for 13 years.

Funeral services will be 11:30 A.M. Thursday, October 6, at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd., where the family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 – 8 P.M.

Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorials in Brenda’s honor may be left to the deGreeff Hospice House.
