Brian Kevin Hittler

Brian Kevin Hittler passed on August 25, 2026, at the age of 61, having been born on June 3, 1965, to the late Charles and Jeanetta Hittler; dear brother of Dennis Robin, Keith Allen, Bruce Stephen and the late Michael Lee; loving nephew, uncle, cousin and dear friend. Brian will be missed by many.

Brian was a most kind-hearted and humble man, sharing what little he had with those who had even less. He developed a great love for our Heavenly Father in his later years and devoted much of his time to Bible Study, finding strength, comfort and purpose in that endeavor. He loved nature and animals, having a special fondness for cats, rescuing and caring for many strays throughout the years. For Brian, a walk in the park was just as enjoyable as a tropical cruise. Brian found joy in life’s simple blessings and approached each day with gratitude.

A special thank you to the BJC Hospice Team, especially, Teneil, Brianna and Sam, for their compassion and care. Their efforts helped ensure Brian’s final days were spent as much as possible in comfort and peace.

A graveside service for Brian will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery Thursday, September 10, 2026 1:30 pm. Please meet in the west parking lot of Hoffmeister South County Chapel.
