Bruce was the beloved husband of Judy Rubin; dear stepfather of Whitey Holt (Janice), Katie Ray (Scott), and Alli Cebular (Sam); and adored grandfather of Julia, Tripp, Charlotte, Holly, Liam, Linden, and Piper. He was the dear brother of Ellen Berger (Barry) and Norman Rubin (Edye), and beloved uncle of Marcy Tyree (Wes), Abby Nguyen (Tri), Lauren Rubin, and Jake Rubin, and great-uncle of Alex, Evan, Logan, and Carter.
Bruce attended University City High School, graduating in 1964. He served in the U.S. Army, but his life’s work was in the produce industry. Bruce spent almost 50 years with the Tom Lange Company, where he played an important role in the company’s success. He retired at age 70, but continued to cherish his Tom Lange friends, former colleagues, and mentees for the rest of his life.
Funeral Service Thursday October 1, 11:30 AM at Congregation Shaare Emeth, 11645 Ladue Rd. 63141 (Also Available by Livestream). Visitation from 11 AM to the time of service. Burial will be private.
