Carlton H. "Red" Kent

Born in Upson County, Georgia, he retired from Dundee Mills in Griffin, Georgia after many years of service. He also owned and operated Kent's Garage & Towing for over 30 years.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Nonie (nee Sheffield) Kent; parents, Carl E. & Lossie (nee Vaughn) Kent; and sister Voncile Ballew.

He is survived by his wife, Loretta (nee Gowan) Kent; children Randy (Lori) Kent and Jan Grant; grandchildren Jeremy Kent, Jason Kent, and Jill Williams; great grandchildren Kaylee, Kaleb, Brian, Michael, and Karsten; brother Edward Eugene Kent; and several nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: The family will receive friends and neighbors from 10am to 11am ,Thursday, October 1, 2026 at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, Lemay, MO 63125.

Interment to follow in St. Trinity Cemetery, Lemay, MO.
