I am so grateful to have traveled with Carol on our mutual journey with MS. She was always kind and smiled as often and as brightly as everyone here has said. Carol showed me how to be graceful while coping with this confusing and frightening disease. I will try to remember her calmness when I start to feel overwhelmed.

I say to you, Carol, that I am even more grateful that I was able to spend time with you in your last few days. You taught me much during that time and you allowed me to find peace. I hope I brought that to you, too. Thank you, Carol.

It is with heartfelt sadness that I say goodbye to my dear friend. Carol had the most beautiful accessory that she wore on a daily basis...her infectious smile. I feel blessed for the time we spent together and will miss her deeply. You were loved by many, my friend.

I work for the MS Society and visited Carol at NHC occasionally and she was always, always smiling and upbeat no matter what she was encountering.
