Linda and I (Marco Romero) want to express our condolences to David for the lost of Cheryl.  We have many fond memories of the two of you. Thanks for your support  during some very difficult times  in our lives with our son Paulo. With your help and support, Paul was given a chance to a more fulfilling life with Shriners Hospital medical expertise.   Cherlyl will always be remembered as a quiet angel on the side of her silly clown.

Our hearts break for you on the loss of your wife and mother. For me so many memories going way back to Berry Avenue, simpler times for us but very sweet. 

Will never forget being reminded of curfew 5 times, after three times I headed for the door. She did it because she loved and cared for us as only a mother could.

The relationship with the Hartwigs goes back to childhood school days.  When the Bittner's and the Hartwig's married, they shared many, many good times together.  We would pile the 5 kids in the back of the old stationwagon and go everywhere together.  We went on vacations together and celebrated holidays too.  There was a memorable trip through wine country ending up in the woods somewhere with a bottle of wine iced down in a paint bucket.  Maybe that was one too many.  Lots and lots of laughs along the way.  I prefer to remember those happy times we spent together.

Cheryl was my next door neighbor for almost 23 years, but we were so much more than neighbors.  For over 10 years, Cheryl worked for the same company as I did.  We had a wonderful, happy time every single day.  She was the beautiful, bright shiny person we all know for every single day.  We had so many happy belly laughs.  She and I share a deep love and affection for animals, so I know that she is having a great time somewhere with Barney (FAD), Gracie (SAD), Bekka and many others.  I will miss her every day of my life.
