Claire Mae Baehler

Claire was born in St. Louis, Missouri, the 12th and youngest child to Calogero and Anna Mugavero (nee Catanzaro). Claire was married to A. Pat Baehler for 68 years prior to his passing in October of 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her 11 siblings.

Claire is survived by her children Pat (the late Cherie) Baehler, Linda (Scott) Matzenbacher, Jeff (Jacqueline) Baehler, Julie (Jerry) Vollmar; her grandchildren Jeffrey Baehler, Jeremy (Emily) Baehler, Alicia Baehler, Alex Baehler, Patrick Michael (Julia) Baehler, Louis (Ashley) Vollmar, Dominic (Emily) Vollmar, and Matthew Vollmar; her great-grandchildren Theo Baehler, Oliver and Fitzgerald Vollmar. Claire was a dear wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Memorial Donations in Claire’s name are appreciated to the St. Vincent DePaul Society of your home parish or to the Missouri Botanical Garden.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 20th from 9:00 am – 10:00 am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church on the Hill, 5130 Wilson Ave.; St. Louis, MO 63110. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 am.
