Constance Mary Economon

Connie was the loving wife of the late Constantine "Babe" Economon; beloved mother of Dennis (Diana) Economon, Dale (Denise) Economon, and the late David (the late Aileen) Economon; devoted grandmother of Nicholas (Meagan), Elizabeth (Chelsea), Kristen (Nicky), Lauren, Thomas (Jamie), Kaitlin (Josh), and Matthew (Alison); cherished great-grandmother; dear sister of Frances (the late Rick) Bentrup; dear aunt, great-aunt, and a friend to many in her long lifetime.

Connie was a devoted parishioner of Saint Ambrose and was a member of the Mount Carmel Society. She was an avid league bocce player and played until she was 93. She was an amazing baker and cook, she did all the crafts, knitting, ceramics, and was a very accomplished person. She was smart, wise, extremely organized, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 30 from 9-10am at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church, 5130 Wilson at Marconi. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10am. Connie will be laid to rest with her husband "Babe" at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 1pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Connie's memory to the Mount Carmel Society or deGreeff Hospice House would be greatly appreciated by her family.
