

Daniel DeVore Watt, age 74, of St. Louis, MO passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022. Daniel was born June 24, 1947 in Winchester, IL to L. Allan and Mary (nee: Blackburn) Watt. They have preceded him in death, as has his brother Leslie. He is survived by: his loving wife of 39 years Ellen (nee: McGauley); his sons; David (Maureen), Nicholas (Annie), Andrew; his brothers; Robert G. Watt, Tom Pile (Kay); his sister-in-law Barbie Watt; cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Daniel received his J.D. at UMKC School of Law in 1972, after which he pursued a long career in trust administration at various banks. The proudest moment of his career was opening the St. Louis branch of Northern Trust.
Daniel was active on: Dana Brown Charitable Trust, Missouri Bar Association and Bar Association of St. Louis; and the endowments of: The St. Louis Children's Hospital, St. Louis Art Museum, St. Louis University, Junior Achievement, and Wilson School.
Daniel's greatest personal achievement was raising his three sons. To his family he was the epitome of fun, love, and devotion.
